Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor, is most well-known for his role in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He discovered his love for acting from his days in the college classroom and then studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films and in television shows however, it's his actors portrayed in small screen that has earned him fame. He has been able to easily play characters from both sides of the law and grab the audience's attention. On his debut TV show where he played the character of a killer. Later, he was able to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. His small-screen performances are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is said to be his piercing blue eyes that are regarded as a signature and have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. He was listed in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
